  • Full journey

Open on every leg — keep the same cabin the whole voyage.

  • 2+ legs

Open on a run of two or more consecutive legs. Cabins open on one leg only are never offered.

  • Checked live, at your party size

Availability differs by occupancy, so every cabin is checked at the number of guests you set.

01The problem

Booking a back-to-back on the lines' own sites is done sailing by sailing, by hand.

A back-to-back is two or more consecutive sailings on the same ship. The ship comes in, one cruise disembarks, the next embarks the same day, and you simply stay aboard. Nothing on a booking site is built for that.

Nothing tells you what connects

Each sailing is booked separately. Whether one ends the day the next begins — on the same ship — is yours to work out.

Inventory is per sailing

A cabin open on leg one may be sold on leg two, forcing a mid-voyage move. Finding one open on every leg means cross-referencing deck plans by hand.

Occupancy changes the answer

A cabin bookable for two can be closed for six. The cross-reference has to be done at the party size you actually want.

Agents repeat it per client

Finding the same voyage for several clients means doing all of it again, per client. Back2BackCruise does the chaining and the cross-referencing, live, in one place.

02How it works

Four steps, one rail.

Several searches can be open at once in tabs, each holding its own line, chain and results — and they survive leaving the page and coming back.

  1. Cruise line

    Where will you set sail?

Choose a cruise line to begin planning a back-to-back voyage on one of its ships.

  2. Search

    Set your search

A date window — six months by default — and the whole fleet or one ship, filed by its distinctive word.

  3. 3Voyage

    Build your back-to-back

Choose a first sailing; only the sailings that connect to either end of the chain remain, until the end of the line.

  4. 4Cabins

    Cabins across your 3-leg voyage

Every leg is checked live at your party size. It can take a few minutes; progress is shown per leg, never as an anonymous spinner.

    In the planner

Starting prices are USD per guest, as the line publishes them.

03The color code

Every cabin, reconciled across the whole chain.

Green and amber mean one thing here and nothing else: how far a cabin carries you.

  • Full journey

Open on every leg. Keep the same cabin the whole voyage.

  • 2+ legs

Open on a run of two or more consecutive legs. The dialog shades the stretch you would book.

  • There is no third color. A cabin open on one leg only would force a mid-voyage move, so the planner never offers it. On the deck map, gray means unavailable or not part of this search.

Prices are in US dollars per guest, as the line publishes them; the total is the per-guest fare summed over the legs kept.

04For travel agents

Find the cabin once. File it under everyone who wants it.

An agent account adds a Clients page — your book, with the back-to-back voyages saved under each name. The planner finds and re-checks the cabin; your quote to the client still comes from your own tools.

Save under a client

When you save a cabin, a picker asks who it is for — and can open a new client inline, because the moment you find the cabin is exactly when the client may not be on the books yet.

Move

Move between clients

Any saved voyage shows who it is filed under — a client, or Myself — and can be moved to another client when plans change.

Copy

Copy onto a second client

The same cabin, filed under two clients, without re-planning the voyage. The original stays where it was.

Personal or travel agent is chosen at sign-up; only an administrator can change it later. Re-checks, removal and Book links work on the Clients page exactly as on Saved trips.

05Saved trips & re-checks

One continuous journey per card, re-checked live when you ask.

A saved trip keeps the cabin, the whole chain, the total price and the party size it was priced at. Checking availability asks every leg's site again and reports a verdict per leg and for the whole voyage.

In the planner

Prices are in US dollars per guest, as the line publishes them.

  • Cabin still open — open on every leg for the saved party size. A separate pill says whether the price is the same, or how much more or less it is now.

  • Cabin no longer available — one or more legs have lost the cabin. Each leg reports Still open, Taken or No sailing.

  • Couldn't confirm — a line's site would not answer for a leg. That leg says Check failed — reported, not guessed.

06Lines & deck maps

Five lines.

Cabins can be viewed as a list or, where the planner has the ship's geometry, painted onto an interactive deck plan — every leg, some legs, unavailable, not in this search — with a spotlight on the one you pick. Coverage is per ship and is stated below.

07How the data works

On demand, and never padded.

Fetched on demand

Cabin availability is fetched from each cruise line's own public booking site when you search. A search repeated within the day may reuse its earlier answer; Check availability always asks the line again. There is no cabin inventory database of record.

Minutes, not seconds

Sailing lists refresh nightly so searching is quick; checking every cabin on every leg takes minutes, and the app shows you which leg it is on.

US dollars, per guest

Every price is the line's own published fare in US dollars, per guest, for the party size you set. Whether taxes and fees are included is the line's choice, and the final price is confirmed only at its checkout.

Booking happens on the line's site

Book links go to the cruise line. Back2BackCruise takes no payment, holds no cabins, and is not affiliated with any cruise line.
